The Brant Family
Family, Freedom and Big Dreams
April 2024 our family moved our homestead with a six year old boy and 102 animals across the country from the Sierra Nevada mountains in California, to the hills of Eastern Kentucky. With nothing but mattresses, animals and each other, we moved into an old fixer upper cabin on 41 acres of land. Our dreams have carried us away from family, but have brought us closer to God’s calling.
We are Matthew, Deandra and Fox Brant
Our little family has been avid outdoor enthusiasts and hunters honoring the divine
balance of life and death for sustainment and food for a long time, stemming back
to our own individual childhoods. This was the introduction to how we knew we
wanted to break away from traditional standards of raising livestock for food and do
it in a way that honored the animals we chose.
